Old Mutual joBerg2c Marathon

The Old Mutual joBerg2c is a full service mountain bike stage race from south of Johannesburg to Scottburgh on the south coast of Kwazulu Natal.

Teams of two riders race or ride for 9 days across some of the most beautiful landscape South African has to offer, passing through over 90 private farms and covering a distance of 910km almost entirely off-road. The Old Mutual joBerg2c uses local towns and people to run the race villages along the route. This allows schools and other institutions to raise enormous funds from the event.

Along with the breathtaking route the race villages, hosted by the local towns, are a highlight of this incredible ride through our beloved country. The Old Mutual joBerg2c is an off-road show of what this incredible country has to offer.

Old Mutual Berg2c

Six days, 580km, from Sterkfontein Dam in the Free State to Scottburgh. The Old Mutual Berg2c will be part of the same vibe and community spirit as joBerg2c, it’s just a little shorter.

The Old Mutual Berg2c (six days) will commence on Monday 30th April and will finish at Scottburgh on Saturday the 5th May.
