On The Money
The On The Money programme is a financial education initiative created to teach South Africans how to best manage their finances. The programme is based on the behaviours of South Africa’s Big Five animals. The unique characteristics of the Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo, as found in nature, have been distilled to teach us on how to manage our personal and family finances.
The programme is delivered by a team of Financial Facilitators, however, the teachings and workbooks have been made available here.

At the end of the ON THE MONEY programme, participants are able to:
- Explain the importance of managing their personal finances.
- Acknowledge their current “money” personality.
- Understand the importance of changing their financial behaviour.
- Demonstrate how they can break old habits that get in the way of financial stabiltity and establish new ones.
