In partnership with the employer and trustees, MSS provides life event assistance at all stages, eg fund entrance, resignation, retrenchment, retirement, death, disability and divorce.

Examples of MSS Administration support:
- Prior to retirement: members can be contacted 10 years, 5 years or 12 months before their nominated retirement date to discuss their specific requirements. Members will then receive regular assistance from an accredited financial adviser;
- On resignation, retrenchment, divorce and redundancy: all these events necessitate withdrawals from the fund; the importance of preservation is highlighted and accredited financial advisers can guide members in making informed investment decisions;
- In the event of permanent disability or death: members/dependants can benefit from expert guidance by an accredited financial adviser;
