OMSFIN offers a wide range of products through its Debt Origination & Treasury desk. These products are typically tailored to meet client specific requirements and provide innovative debt solutions.
OMSFIN also has excellent relationships with the major banks operating within South Africa and often works in partnership with these institutions, especially where the client's funding requirements call for loan syndication.
We work closely with the
Old Mutual Investment Group (SA) (OMIGSA), and other private equity teams, when the transaction requires equity participation.

Core Services
OMSFIN’s activities include:
- Originating credit assets for both its own balance sheet and Old Mutual group's balance sheet.
- Providing preference share funding for major corporations and BEE transactions.
- Providing asset/liability solutions for the group's matched annuity fund.
- Trading in interest rate swaps, options and other derivative products necessary for various structuring and risk management solutions.
- Acting as agent for the group in scrip lending transactions.
- Pursuing any other debt and equity funding opportunities approved by OMSFIN’s board of directors.
