- Free blood tests at 6 weeks and at 3 months after exposure to potential HIV infection.
- Provision of anti-retroviral medication for 30 days after exposure to potential HIV infection.
- Provision of sexually transmitted infection medication for 7 days following event.
- Registration on an HIV management programme in the event of HIV infection.
- Medical treatment for injury resulting from assault (maximum R5 000 per person or R10 000 per family).
- Placement of security guards at the scene of burglary for 48 hours afterwards.
