iWYZE gives you the option of adding an Accidental Damage Benefit to your household contents policy. This benefit will compensate you by repairing, replacing or paying for accidental loss or damage caused to your household contents. For example, if someone accidentally bumps your television off the table, it would be covered under this benefit.
Additional Benefits Package
As an iWYZE household contents policyholder with Complete Cover, you may choose to take this package of Additional Benefits and extend your cover to include the benefits detailed below:
Guests’ Property cover
This covers the loss or damage of household contents or valuables (excluding money) belonging to guests who are staying with you temporarily.
Staff Property cover
Covers loss or damage of household contents or valuables (excluding money) belonging to your domestic staff.
Contents of Fridge/Freezer
We will replace the food in your refrigerator/deep freeze if it is spoiled because of a breakdown or accidental damage to the unit, or as the result of a power failure lasting more than 24 hours.
Keys and Locks
iWYZE will pay the costs incurred to replace keys, remotes and locks that are lost or damaged.
Documents
We will cover the cost of replacing documents or obtaining duplicates of documents (but not the actual value of the contents of the documents), that have been lost or damaged.
Medical and Veterinary Expenses
iWYZE will pay the costs incurred if your domestic animal/s is injured in a road accident (if not covered under another policy section), as well as costs incurred if your domestic staff/guests/visitors are injured by your domestic animal/s, or by a defect in your home.
Temporary Accommodation
If your home becomes temporarily unfit to live in because of loss or damage iWYZE will pay your rent and any reasonable additional costs for alternative accommodation for you, your family and your domestic staff.
Security Guard
iWYZE will arrange for, and pay the cost of hiring a security guard to protect your property, if necessary, following loss or damage.
Telephone Instruments
This option covers the cost of replacing your home telephone (excluding cellular telephones) following damage to the instrument.
Trauma counselling
iWYZE will pay for the cost of professional counselling if you, or any member of your household, is the victim of a violent theft, attempted theft, armed robbery or hijacking.
