This solution is only available if your capital is derived from your own non-retirement funding investments/savings. It offers you a guaranteed income for a term of between 5 and 25 years. The investment minimum is a lump sum of R10 000.
You also benefit from flexible payment frequency and can choose to receive your income:
- Annually.
- Bi-annually.
- Quarterly.
- Monthly.
Income Options
There is a choice of three income options from which to choose.
- Fixed Income Payments - you will receive the same amount at every payment date for the duration of the term.
- Fixed Escalating Income Payments - your payments increase annually by a predetermined amount. This can vary from between 1% - 8%.
- Inflation-linked Income Payments - your income payments increase annually in line with inflation.
