Before you apply for an Old Mutual Investment Credit Card, check to see if you meet the following criteria:
- Are a South African citizen or resident aged 18 or older;
- Earn R100 000 per year or more;
- Have a valid email address. (Communication is via email.)
In addition you need to have a good credit history and meet the requirements of the National Credit Act. We will check these when you apply.
Step 1
Get an application form by:
- Calling 0860 007 007 (during office hours - Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00).
- Select the "Apply" button, pre-screen yourself online and print an application form.

Step 2
Complete the application form and fax it to 011 667 6976, together with the necessary documentation.
Step 3
Within 3-5 days you will receive an SMS/letter advising if your application has been approved. This may take longer if there is outstanding documentation.
Step 4
If approved, your Old Mutual American Express Investment Credit Card and Old Mutual Visa Investment Credit Card will be delivered to your door!
Step 5
Remember to have the following documentation on hand:
- Your SA ID book and a copy thereof.
- A utility bill no older than three months in your name with your residential address (e.g. a telephone or municipality account).
