Retirement Plan

Start planning now for your retirement with this inflation-beating tax-efficient retirement saving with a choice of investment terms.

Did you know that even R5 a day (which adds up to R150 per month) is enough to get you started?

Your company pension on its own may not be enough and you can't rely on the state's basic old age pension. There's always likely to be a shortfall between the amount you receive and the amount you actually need for a comfortable retirement.

  • Start investing at any age up to 54 years.
  • Old Mutual will invest your money in its Smoothed Bonus Portfolio which aims to deliver inflation-beating returns.

  • The investment term of this retirement plan is six to nine years.
  • You may not be older than 58 years when you apply.
