This particular programme is funded by employees who make a monthly contribution and Old Mutual Foundation matches all contributions rand for rand. The funds are managed by the Old Mutual Staff Volunteer Fund Trust (OMSVFT).

Funding criteria
Eligible for funding are Public Benefit Organisation(PBOs) with a track record of delivery, that can provide a sustainable benefit to their beneficiaries and represent South Africa’s demographics. Focus areas include:
Our employees are the visible heart and hands of Old Mutual in the communities in which we operate and we strive to make a positive impact through our employee volunteer initiatives.
Our Care and Share Programme enables employees to volunteer their time at a community project, demonstrating that Old Mutual Cares for our communities.
During the month of July, Old Mutual employees participate in a range of activities across multiple provinces in support of Mandela Month. These efforts are aimed at addressing various social and environmental challenges, aligning with Old Mutual's commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.
