Turnaround Management/ Business Recovery

Turnaround management generally deals with severe underperforming businesses and businesses in distress. Turnaround specialists must have significant operational experience in dealing with business as well as industry knowledge, with expert skills in turning around distressed businesses. The service provider would be required to assess the company, identify key issues and constraints the business faces with the view of providing practical solutions. 

A key deliverable would be a comprehensive turnaround plan, which would be implemented by the service provider in collaboration with management of the business until the business is stable.

Collections and Recovery Management

Seeking service providers with experienced teams and trained professionals who understand the industry and know how to negotiate with debtors effectively. The following capabilities and competencies are required:

• Debt collection -  manage early collections and post write-off recovery.

• Liquidators - manage the process of winding up affairs, sale of assets, and settling the business’ creditors’.

• Auctioneers - qualified auctioneers registered with the South African Institute of Auctioneers and in possession of a valid Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover.

• Storage facilities - packing, collecting, and storage of assets on behalf of Masisizane Fund.
