The past two years have forced us to disrupt our own thinking, and to come together in
resourceful ways, to start work on a better future for us, as people,
for our businesses and for our planet. As Iain Williamson, our CEO, says on page 12, ‘Issues like climate change, the Covid-19 pandemic, poverty and inequality cannot be solved by one player alone.’

An equally impactful way to change people’s lives, is through financial literacy. Old Mutual has therefore launched Learn.Think.Do, our ambitious education initiative that brings financial education
to learners and teachers across Africa (page 32) by weaving it into existing lessons, making it part and parcel of daily life, as it should be.
