Qualification Criteria

Please read the following carefully before applying.

If your answer is yes to all questions below, apply before 12 Feb 2020:

  • I am a SA citizen aged between 18-28.
  • I am currently unemployed.
  • I have not been on a wealth management NQF4 learnership programme before.
  • I have passed grade 12 or NQF level 4 qualification and do not have more than a grade 12 or NQF level 4 qualification.
  • I have obtained the following marks: English (50% or over), an Official second language (50% or over)and; Pure maths (50% or over) or Maths literacy (70% or over).
  • My combined household annual income is less than R 350 000.
  • I have a favourable credit status.
  • Should my application be successful, I can join the Amathuba Learnership programme on the 01 March 2020 in Cape Town.

Application Process

  • You will submit a CV,please include; population group, gender, nationality, age, matric subjects and results, residential address, disability status (yes or no), list any complete or uncompleted qualifications.
  • You will submit a certified copy of your ID and Matric certificate/statement of results
  • Shortlisted applicants will undergo online assessments.
  • Based on the assessment results a further short list of applicants will be invited to attend a competency based interview.
  • A final short list of applicants will be invited to do a final interview with Line Managers.
  • Successful candidates will be contacted to sign contracts prior to the commencement of the programme on 01 March 2020.

As per Old Mutual Employment Equity plan, preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals and people with disabilities.
