The Absolute Growth Portfolios are expertly managed and designed to give you all the benefits of inflation-beating returns with significantly less of the volatility or downside risk that markets can bring.

The Absolute Growth Portfolios offer:

Inflation-beating investment returns: Approximately 80% of the portfolio is invested in growth assets such as equities, property and alternative assets.
Protection: Smoothing turns unstable market returns into smoothed returns, protecting investors from the risk of volatile markets.
Choice: Various levels of guarantees on capital, contributions, and declared bonuses are available to fulfill the needs of a range of risk-return profiles.
Targeted outcomes: Absolute Growth Portfolios target explicit, inflation-linked returns over the long term (10 years and more). Growth objectives aren’t guaranteed, but are explicitly targeted by our fund managers.
Transparency: Returns are formula-driven, linked to CPI targets and declared monthly in advance.

Depending on your desired level of growth and protection, you can choose between the following portfolios:

Absolute Smoothed Growth: 50% guarantee on capital and bonuses, with a growth objective of CPI + 6.0%.
Absolute Stable Growth: 80% guarantee on capital and bonuses, with a growth objective of CPI + 5.5%.
Absolute Secure Growth: 100% guarantee on capital and bonuses with a growth objective of CPI + 3.5%.

Old Mutual’s Core Growth Portfolios uses our proven smoothing methodology to target stable, inflation-beating returns over the long term while reducing the volatility often associated with market-linked investments.

The Old Mutual Core Growth Portfolios are designed to meet the needs of more conservative investors. The underlying asset portfolio has a moderate exposure to growth assets of approximately 60%.

Depending on your desired level of growth and protection, you can choose between the following portfolios:

Core Growth Portfolio 100: Offers a 100% guarantee on capital and bonuses
Core Growth Portfolio 90: Offers a 90% guarantee on capital and bonuses
