Burnout is everywhere. According to the American magazine and web publication Fortune, as much as 82% of employees in the US are at risk of being affected by it.
In South Africa, almost half of the working population has already experienced symptoms of burnout during their careers, says workplace wellbeing specialist Lana Hindmarch.
