Retirement is inevitable for everyone, and there’s never a bad time to start planning towards it. In fact, South Africa’s retirement planning industry is one of the best in the world, and will become even better once it has diversified and transformed to reflect our people. That was the shared opinion at the Business Day Dialogue hosted by ASI Financial Services in December 2020.

Andrew Davison, head of advice at Old Mutual Corporate Consultants, joined Viresh Maharaj, managing executive of corporate distribution at Sanlam, Clem Sunter, an independent scenario planner, and Anthony Govender, founder and CEO of ASI Financial Services, to discuss the issue of diversity and business transformation that is needed in South Africa.
