Magical Moments ‘Touching 2 000 Hearts’
In October 2018 we took the first step on a magical journey to connect with our customers through empathy, care, and small acts of kindness.
We launched our Magical Moments programme to support customers during traumatic and life-changing events - to date, we had the privilege to create over 2 000 Magical Moments. We continue to believe in the power of connecting with customers in real and meaningful ways through our Magical Moments.
That’s why we have launched two additional initiatives:
Siyanibona – “We see you and appreciate you”, aimed at paying tribute to our customers who are frontline and essential workers. Sending out personalised care packs is just a small way to say we see you and thank you for the amazing job you do!
Sisonke - “Together for Tomorrow” with the focus on Ubuntu & Kindness. Reaching out and connecting with our customers during challenging times.

- Connecting with our customers beyond our products and services on an emotional level, by being human.
- Celebrating and sharing in the joy of the different life stages of our customers.
- Reaching out to our more senior customers and connecting through warm-heartedness and care.
- Putting the smile back on a customer’s face and restoring hope.
Our goal at Old Mutual Insure is not only to create Magical Moments for our customers by recognising the traumatic and life changing experiences they endure, but to also connect with them on a deeper level to show that WE CARE.
