Remchannel appoints Kobie Joubert as Head: Executive Reward and Governance Advisory2 July 2026

As executive pay faces sharper scrutiny from shareholders, regulators and employees, Remchannel, a total remuneration data intelligence platform and advisory consultancy, has appointed Kobie Joubert as Head: Executive Reward and Governance Advisory, effective 1 July 2026.

Remchannel helps employers build attractive employee value propositions and defendable total reward strategies through total remuneration market data, benchmarking, consulting and advisory insight. Joubert’s appointment adds senior global reward governance expertise to this capability, helping clients make executive pay decisions that are competitive, transparent, defensible and aligned to long-term value creation. He will report to Lindiwe Sebesho, Managing Director of Remchannel.

He is a qualified Global Remuneration Professional, Certified Compensation Professional and Master Reward Specialist, with more than two decades of local and international experience in remuneration, compensation and benefits. Joubert’s career spans multinational, listed-company, financial services and consulting environments, including Canal+ Groupe, Naspers, MultiChoice Group, Barclays Africa Group, FNB, Nedbank and PwC.

Most recently, he was responsible for compensation, benefits, HRIS and payroll activities globally, covering approximately 17,000 employees in more than 70 countries. Across his career, he has worked with boards, remuneration committees and executive leadership teams on reward strategy, remuneration disclosures, share schemes, regulatory matters, shareholder engagement and complex corporate activity.
