Options at Retirement

As a member of the Old Mutual Retirement Annuity or Old Mutual Pension or Provident Preservation Funds, you have already taken important steps towards enjoying a financially comfortable retirement. But saving is only one part of any successful retirement journey. Equally important is making the right decision about what to do with your savings when you reach retirement.

Many of our members have appointed a financial adviser to assist with their retirement planning and to benefit from their financial expertise. However, a number of our members prefer to make their own financial decisions and choices as direct investors in our Retirement Fund products. Having access to the right information, including financial advice, is especially important when making decisions at retirement.

For members who have not consulted a financial adviser, the Trustees strongly recommend seeking advice from a financial adviser. Click here for guidance on how to choose a financial adviser. It is important to note that financial advisers may charge an advice fee for the advice they provide, so you will need to negotiate a mutually agreeable fee for this advice.
