Old Mutual Albaraka Equity Fund

This fund provides investors with the opportunity to invest in equities listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE). It seeks to provide medium- to long-term outperformance of the FTSE/JSE Shari’ah Index.

Who should invest?

This fund is aimed at investors with longer term investment views, who want to take maximum advantage of any growth opportunities in the local equity market. It is a relatively high-risk investment as it invests in equities which require the benefit of time to iron out any negative market movements and to generate inflation-beating returns.

Old Mutual Albaraka Balanced Fund

This moderately aggressive asset allocation fund invests in local and international asset classes including equity, liquid assets and fixed income alternatives, as well as the portfolios of other unit trusts. It aims to provide investors with long term inflation-beating returns and reduced risk through diversification. It is regulation 28 compliant and is suitable for retirement fund investors.

Investors seeking long term growth, who want to access opportunities in the local and global markets, but at reduced risk.
