    None! You pay no tax on transferring to the Preservation Fund, you pay no tax on the growth of your investment and switching funds will not trigger a capital gains event. However, it would be important to note that any withdrawals would be subject to tax.

    No problem. You can make one full or partial withdrawal from the Preservation Fund before you retire. But, there are limitations of the amount you can withdraw before you are taxed.
