ISIC is the Insurance Standard for Industrial Classification of all economic activities in South Africa.

ISIC consists of:

• the ISIC code (alpha-numerical, e.g. “A0113002”) and
• ISIC description (alpha, “Growing of asparagus vegetable”, max characters 500).
