You can complete your FICA in just a few minutes using selfie verification, which is securely linked to the Department of Home Affairs. You’ll also be able to upload your documents digitally - quick and hassle-free! 



You’re in control! You can choose to move your savings to OM Bank.



You can keep using your Money Account until June 2026You can now switch your salary and debit orders to OM Bank.



Yes, download the OM Bank app and sign up as a new customer. The app will recognise you as a Money Account client and you can initiate the closure of your Money Account right from the app.

Withdraw or deposit cash at any ATM nationwide, or pop into Shoprite, Checkers, Pick n Pay, or Boxer. Remember to be aware of your surroundings and keep your card pin private whenever you withdraw cash.



You’ll need to follow the official closure process - it won’t close automatically if you decide to move to OM Bank. But you can initiate closure in the OM bank app or in the branch. 



No worries - you’ll still be able to claim your funds through an unclaimed funds process after Money Account shuts down. But you won’t be able to transact on your money account. For the unclaimed funds process, customers can log a request for unclaimed Old Mutual Money Account funds at the Old Mutual retail branches, by calling the Money Account Customer Call Centre 0860222252, or emailing the Money Account Support team at MoneyAccountSupport@oldmutual.com. You will need to provide your ID document and an account confirmation letter for the bank you wish to move your money to.
